16/365

We got shuttled around to visit more relatives today, since we leave tomorrow. Family is very important in Bahraini culture, and if we didn't stop in to say hello, Jamilla wouldn't hear the end of it. We did stop to see one uncle, apparently not the nicest guy, and we pulled up and Jamilla told Ali to go in. She wasn't going (I guess she doesn't get along with his wife). Ali was like "I'm not going in if you aren't!"... fortunately he wasn't home anyway, but it was kinda funny!

Leila... she's a bit eccentric. In today's photo she's done her favorite puzzle (a gingerbread house, 100 pieces), and then she took it apart piece by piece and laid it out the right way, but not touching. Strange girl!

Kiddisms:
We ordered in dinner with Hamid and Elyas saw there was something on the salad. He asked what it was and we told him it was paprika. He must have misheard us because after that he kept asking "where is the pepper cock?" hahahahaha

That child is something with those puzzles...she is so fast! I am pretty good or so I thought, but she is very, very quick to find those relationships, and cracked me up with her "'scuze me" when she saw a match and I was obstructing her! I really enjoyed our puzzle time together and look forward to more such chances in the future!
