Today Ali's uncle Elyas threw a party for us at his restaraunt, Isfahani Yas. There were so many people there, I barely remember any of their names. A lot of Ali's mom's cousins. The food was fantastic, it's a Persian restaraunt.
After the party we went to visit Ali's grandmother. She doesn't get around much anymore, she's wheelchair bound. It was nice to meet her, but difficult for me to chat with her, since she speaks Persian and I barely speak Arabic! Leila had fallen asleep by the end of the party and slept through meeting Bibi. I ended up going to Amwaj with the kids while Ali went to his uncle's house for dinner. I'm not to sad I missed it, it was the night they had goat head soup. I'll try almost anything, but not that. Ew.
Sonya, Ali's sister, and her kids went home to Kuwait today.

Leila and Jowa playing, Jowa is one year older than Elyas, right between the kids in age.

The girl cousins. Yara is 9, Leila almost 4, and Jowa almost 3.

Ali with his Bibi.
