One of my favorite things in the world is taking that peak at sleeping children. When they are still and quiet they are so peaceful. Almost makes you forget how they are when they're awake ;) Elyas has a way of sneaking on to my pillow between the time I put him down for the night and the time I go to bed, as if to make sure he will know when I come to bed because I'll have to move him to get in.
Sometimes I think about how so many people don't sleep with their babies, and they must be SO STRONG to do so. I can't imagine not sleeping with my children. I start to tear up at the idea of Leila sleeping in her own bed... in her own ROOM. Will I get any sleep? Will I worry constantly? How do people do this?

I don't know how people don't sleep with their kids either! We love it! It was hard when Dee was 4 and wanted her own bed, but considering it's 3 feet from out bed, it's not so bad. :)
