3/365

Today we have Mr. Jude featuring his purple face courtesy of gentian violet (which is used to treat thrush). I have had thrush with all three of the kids, but in some ways this time was the worst because for me it was in the milk ducts instead of the nipple. So, it didn't make nursing painful, like thrush can, though the letdowns are painful, it's only momentary. But it does make it much harder to get rid of! I'm still struggling to get rid of it, we'll hope that the gentian violet and the diflucan will knock it out completely.

And for fun, the whole set of purple lipped babies.

Too cute!

Silly question though...is your breastmilk actually purple?

HAHA! Only that what runs down the baby's chin. ;)
