We picked up one of those 8 games in a box a couple weeks ago at Goodwill (score! It had all the parts for Chinese Checkers, even! you know those things get lost so easily!). We've been playing lots of checkers and tic-tac-toe, but now Ali is starting to teach Leila chess. She's always been more attracted to logic and mathy sort of things, so I think she will really like it. Ali showed her the rules yesterday, and tonight she set the board up all on her own, and put all the pieces in the right place!

She will have to play with Trapolin. He loves chess.
WOW! Smart girl! I have no clue how to play chess, but I love Chinese Checkers! Playing games with your children teaches them so much...good for you :)
Impressed but not surprised, because that little girl is off the hook smart!
