Today we went to our painting class at the Rec center and it was SO much better than yesterday's class! Of course, it was a different teacher, and that can make all the difference! (It was the same teacher we had last term for the Mudpies class, which was also very fun). After class we went over to our friends' house for crafting... I worked on a little bunny for "Easter" (we don't really celebrate Easter, but we're going to do an egg and treasure hunt in celebration of Spring). Darian helped Leila make these cute little needle felted chicks! Leila was so proud of them, and I must say they are adorable! Needle felting seems like so much fun, I think I may need to take it up. :)The kids were so cute in the car today, Leila was "reading" a book to Elyas... so sweet. It reminds me of why I wanted to have my kids close in age, I'm so glad we're to the point where they play together and take care of each other (don't get me wrong, they also fight, but that's to be expected!).
Only 12 days until Mom comes for a visit! Today Leila revised "She'll be coming 'round the mountain" with some verses like "she'll be coming on an airplane when she comes", "she'll be coming for my birthday when she comes" "oh I'll have to sleep with Granny when she comes"... I think my girl is ready for a visit from Grandma!

I LOVE Leila's song! I bet Grandma is singing one or two of her own!
So, are these classes through a home school center or a community center? Maybe I should teach some classes like that! I would have a blast and I promise you that there would be no photocopied pictures to color in! I would love to teach classes of my camp that I taught for so many years!
