In an effort to try new things, today we tried out two recipes! The biggie was the bagels... I've never made bagels before, but I was surprised how easy it turned out to be, for as big a hit they were! I'll definitely be making them again, though I will probably have to make donuts next as Leila is confused and keeps calling the bagels donuts. :)
We also made baked oatmeal, which was extremely delicious. I don't think I'll ever make stovetop again.

Okay, I MUST have the baked oatmeal recipie. I love oatmeal! I have only made it ont he stovetop, so I am fascinated about baking it!

but I replaced half the oil (I used butter) with unsweetened applesauce, and halved the sugar. It was just right.
