Yet another day without a photo. I'm in a funk, I think. I need to go spend some time at ILP (ilovephotography.com) and get motivated. I need to take some of the boy for his two year photos!

I didn't mention it before, but I lost my job at Google on Wednesday. Checked my email mid-morning and there was a message to finish up work and submit my hours by the end of the business day! So disappointing. Here I was thinking "oh no, is this based on that first awful report card? But I've improved so much!" (at Google the quality rate their quality raters. ). Turns out I was not at all alone, there are tons and tons of raters that have lost their positions this week. It's just the state of the economy. I love how this comes on the heels of ordering that playset and buying our yearly pass to the pool. At least we were smart and paid off two of our credit cards, and now we just have 2 payments instead of 4. But so much for being debt-free besides the mortgage in 6 months! I think we can still do it, it's just going to take a year instead. Unless I can find something else, and I'm not holding my breath. In the meantime, I have some budget shuffling to do. I'm thinking we need to eliminate our order-in night and instead have a homemade pizza night. It will save us about $100-150 a month. Not what I was hoping for, but we'll make it work. Now if I could only get Ali on board with a cash allowance for his lunches...
