We made the trek to the library today and got some more story books. It always amazes me how well behaved they are at the library: they can be soooo loud at home! But they enjoyed some playing with the toys at the library, and looked longingly at the snow-covered playground in the ped mall on our way to and from the bus stop. Leila, as you see in the photo, took her once-every-three-weeks nap today, of all days, Lost day. Grrr. We did manage to make three loaves of bread (one braided bread for tonight's dinner, one olive loaf, and one sandwich loaf). Now I'm out of flour. Bah.
Ali was going to watch Lost with me, but fell asleep with the kids. I hear that some people's children put themselves to sleep at night. I am curious about these sort of children, and whether it can be taught to co-sleepers who believe their parents are sleeping the whole night in the bed? I miss spending some quiet time with my husband in the evening, though I do truly cherish my 3 hours of alone time every night.

Our oldest co-sleeper learned to put herself to bed around age 5....well, she's only 3 feet from our bed, but she doesn't need anyone to lay with her anymore :) My husband falls asleep in bed with Bella every night...I too, love my alone time! :)
