I have to say that is it just beautiful here in Iowa. We've been here 6 months today, and I love it. We're surviving our first winter (granted we did get to take a long break from it!), and the thing about winter here that is different from Washington is that even though it is C.O.L.D. it is sunny frequently! Whereas in Washington it is pretty much 8 solid months of grey, with a day or two of sun here and there. After all my issues last year, I'm so glad I don't have to make it through another long Washington winter.
I feel so blessed to have moved here: to a place that we love, with wonderful new friends, a great house, and a JOB for my husband. You can't ask for much more than that! Well, I could ask that my family was closer, but it is what it is! At least I will have Hawaii to vacation too! :)

8 months of GREY is the GHTruth! Sun really does make a big difference! When we left Issaquah, I was taking 2000-4000 units of Vitamin D3 every day and my D level was still at 27. My D level is now at 48.1 and I haven't taken any supplements! Or gotten sunburned!
Did you see that sunset yesterday? It was so beautiful, I had to call my grandma to make sure she was watching it! We really do have all 4 seasons to the fullest here. I'm glad you are enjoying it!
