Out of the fire and into the frying pan.

Since Poop Fest 08 the other day Elyas has gone everyday. Great, right? Well, now it's totally loose! Last night he had a movement at 1am, totally filled his diaper and pants, and then did more on the bathroom floor while I was getting a fresh diaper for him. Then this afternoon another loose movement. Seriously, is there no middle ground? Last night I lay awake after cleaning him up, holding him, wondering if I'd "broken" him with the laxative (of course not, but you know how it is, when you are a mother, holding a baby at night, the sorts of thoughts that roam through your head). Then this morning I woke up to a terrible feeling in my stomach/gut. I've felt on the verge of puking all day, but never actually ralphed. I think I'd feel better if I did, but I'm not one to force these things. So perhaps he's moved from being constipated right into a tummy virus. He has had diminshed appetite today too, which I am definitely feeling. Oy. Our first tummy bug. Not looking forward to this one.
