Ah, little shoes. When I bought Leila her first shoes, I bought them in a nice gender neutral style, thinking my next child could wear them. Um, no. Leila got her first pair at 12 months, or a little before, when she started walking outside. Same for Elyas... around 11 months, I though, this boy needs some shoes (mainly because he was soaking his robeez everyday when going outside!). So I dug out Leila's first pair. I could barely shove his fat foot in there! They fit Leila until she was 15 or 16 months old. And I thought she had big feet! Well, this boy looks like he's going the way of my brothers (size 12 and 13, and they aren't that tall!).
Elyas is definitely on a different growing curve than Leila. He's just... chunkier. I love his little chunky thighs. I think it's because he is a marathon nurser... Leila took a pacifier but Elyas just nurses and sucks down some extra calories in his sleep. My little chunky muffin.
