I knew it was coming: move to a new place, get exposed to new bugs. I felt a little icky last week, like I was fighting something off. Well, Elyas came down with a slight cough on Saturday, and by Sunday morning had a good fever and a raspy cough going. He still has a fever today (so far unmedicated, though if he still has it tonight, I'm giving him some tylenol, so we can both sleep. Poor little guy barely got any rest last night.
I expect about the time he is getting better, Leila will get it. *sigh*

We're all recovering from when we had it last week. You'll have to get used to the new weather as well - I'm sure the humidity and pollen counts are quite different here!!

everyone in my family either has or has had something icky, too. we've been passing it around a bit.
5-7 days Sarah. Not too bad, but my girls got the croupy cough and a low-grade fever with it.
