How would you respond...

if your child said "Mom, is there a bead in my nose?"

You know, it's something I have always thought was coming. However, I always thought it would be ELYAS who did it! But no, Leila shoved a bead up her morning, requiring an emergency run to the store for tweezers, because I couldn't find mine, and when that was unsuccessful (the removal not the purchasing), we made an appointment with a new pediatrician. Lovely, eh? 35 minutes of digging later, the booger-covered bead was unearthed.

In other news, Elyas just correctly identified both pink and yellow!

I know, I know. Mine are packed away! And they didn't have them at the store I went to... I should have just gone to Joann's!

my niece did this at age 5! you'd think she'd know better by then. the ER sent her home with a jar that said "O's nose rock."
