I swear we are just stuck in a rut of bad luck! We were rear ended today while waiting to make a left turn. The fellow didn't actually hit us all that hard, didn't do any damage to the car, but still. I'm so sick of all this stress!
On top of that, Ali drove all the way to Des Moines to check on his employment authorization and the lady was out of the office all day. So he'll have to go back on Thursday. Gah.
And we just returned from Miami last night (got out just before Fay hit), and they didn't put our carseats on the plane in Miami. Had to use the airline carseats until they sent out ours. Grrrrr. That's what gate checking is supposed to cure!

Oh My Goodness!! You have not been hacing good luck latley. I'm sending positive thoughts up for you that your luck turns around. And I can't beleive you didn't stow me in luggage for the trip to Miami :(
my guess would be no insurance on the rear-ender? they never have insurance when they cause accidents. we didn't get our carseats back this summer, either. luckily, we take spares. i hope things improve soon.
