Our little parrot

Elyas is just a little chatterbox! You hear so often that a second child talks later because they have an older sibling to talk for them (and boy could Leila fill those shoes!), but Elyas has a mind of his own and wants to speak it! Here's his current list of words:

Mama
Baba
DaDa or DayDay: Leila
Baby (bah-bee)
Car (kah)
Truck (kuhk)
Berry (boo-ee) this can mean anything from blueberries to raisins to prunes
Cheese
Milk (meee, or maah) said while signing emphatically and diving at my tit
kitty
meow (mao)
bird (brr)
tweet tweet (teet-teet)
dog (gad)... dyslexic? ;)
hot - always whispered for some reason
out - meaning outside
book (buh)
ball (bah)
poo-poo
up - this is the word I hear about 50 times an hour... see upcoming 30 days post
Grandma (nana)
Grandpa (bapa)
tea
water

Hmmm, I think that's it, but there are maybe more, and I will add them as they come to me. He also signs up and eat and all done. I think he tried to say all done today after lunch, but I'm not sure.
