I want one...

Before I add to this blog a post on minimalism and voluntary simplicity I'm going to post about this product I read about in a magazine. The Kaboost chair booster. So, we never bought highchairs. Having our child eat with us at the table was always something we valued strongly and we wanted to start from the beginning. So Rose started out with a clip-on booster (attaches to the table), and she used that for the first year (we'll, really from about 5 months through 13 months). I then bought her an on-chair booster that straps to the chair, because her knees were banging the table. When Elyas came along I bought him a fisherprice space saver high chair, that attaches to the dining chairs, but reclines, has a tray, etc. Well, much to my dismay, the arms on the thing don't go down, so it can't be pushed all the way in to the table! I wish I'd noticed that before I recycled the box. Anyway... I even bought a blow-up booster for a recent trip we took to Hawaii. None of these are ideal, and half the time Leila doesn't want to use one, she wants to be in the big chairs like us. So that Kaboost would be PERFECT for her! And, I just got a rebate check from my amazon.com card... hmmm, wonder what that's going to go towards! :)

I'd like to buy two, but Elyas is not ready to not be strapped into his chair, being 11 months and all (and the head-injury king does not need to add risk to his life!). I'm quite excited about this... though the DH may be wondering "what? another booster? how many of those do we need??!!" Um, honey, we need to keep looking until we find the right one! and I think this one is it for Leila for now (that is, until she is too big for boosters at all).

Oh,that sounds interesting. Let us know how it works! When do you think our LOs (I have a march 07 baby as well) can use a strapless booster seat?

I don't think Elyas is ready for this... hmm, I think closer to two would be right, depending on the kid.
