Being the mother of young children can be difficult in ways you don't expect. Okay, well, maybe everyone expects to be sleep deprived in the early years. I wish Leila was one of those kids who just lay down and put themselves to sleep, but she's not. So I've been slowly reading through the No Cry Sleep Solution for Preschoolers and Toddlers, lots of great ideas, but honestly haven't implemented many yet, except moving her naptime a little later (which resulted in an increase in her naps by about an hour... after a month of doing this!).
I find it so difficult to even sit and read the book though, so I'm trying a new strategy. Ali is also pretty busy and hasn't gotten to read the book so I'm going straight to the heart of the issue:
