Flashback Friday!

I'm really enjoying these flashbacks! Going through old folders, watching videos of the kids, it's wonderful. Everyone should do this!

2005:
This is my precious cat, Johann (named for JS Bach). I got Johann as a kitten from the Humane Society when I was 18. He was my forever buddy, I can't tell you how many times I cried into his fur over a broken relationship, or some coming-of-age dilemma. Poor Johann died just before I found out I was pregnant with Elyas, we think he was killed by coyotes. He will forever have a special place in my heart.

Both of these are some of my favorite pictures ever. My sweet little boy.






2008:
My sweet Leila. This is a few weeks before we moved to Iowa, I remember she seemed so big then! Now looking back, she seemed so sweet and little, her cheeks still had that baby fat. *sniff*

Elyas had this noggin, this great be gargantuan head... looked like he was growing a massive brain in there! I'd forgotten the lightbulb shape it had.

This one is for Mom, who thinks Elyas never touched her at all until he turned 3. ;)

I should try some more bubble shots, they are so fun!

2009:




Ali sports a flower given to him by one of the kids. I'm trying to convince him to use this photo on his office door. :)
