We enjoyed an impromptu camping trip into my parent's backyard, because we were unable to join friends on a group camping trip due to some business I had to attend to. It was great to be at my parents house as I was able to box up most the odds and ends we have left there.
I was also able to secure housing for when we move to Iowa City. We'll be staying in The Alexis Park Inn, in a 3 br suite, for as long as we need to find a house. So that's one worry off the list. Now I just need to get in touch with the moving companies this week and figure out the logistics of it.
Elyas has been the mad teether this weekend and in a good amount of discomfort. And then Leila got stung by a wasp or yellow jacket. :( Ah well.
It was fun to camp and the folks. We have decided we will need an additional air mattress for our trek out to Iowa though, 1 queen bed mattress was not enough for four people.

I got Tegan an Aerobed for kids and it is great! It inflates and deflates very quickly. the "sheet" it comes with is a little sketchy, so you may want to get one and make a quick sheet out of some cotton.
