Gratitude: 45, 46

Saturday, 2/15: today I was grateful for time spent getting to know the families at Jude's preschool "talent show", and for understanding teachers who didn't force my shy guy up on to stage.  I'm so grateful that we changed schools last Fall.  Best decision regarding schooling I've ever made for any of my kids. 

Sunday, 2/16: I surprised myself with honesty when a friend asked "how are you doing?" I didn't exactly say "shitty" which is how I was feeling, but I did stumble on my words and say I was just "ok".  I think my spirit knows I need connection, and this friend is becoming a good one.  I was saddened when she said she was thinking about moving away. :(
