Trying to get back in the swing of things

It seems I fell off the blogging bandwagon sometime over the course of being ill over the summer, and then having Mom and Adam here in September, and Dad in October. And here I sit and it's November 18th! How on Earth did that happen! We'll be leaving for Washington in less than a month, and I have much I need to do in that time. Mostly, working on Christmas gifts. The kids are getting a Melissa and Doug Treehouse (http://www.amazon.com/Melissa-Doug-Classic-Wooden-House/dp/B000KEMCQ6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=toys-and-games&qid=1258577641&sr=8-1) for Christmas, so I want to learn to needle felt so I can make some little people and accessories for the treehouse. They are also getting dolls that look like them, and I am making them a bunch of stuff to go along with it (matching aprons for child and doll, felt food, dress up clothes for the dolls, and a set of matching backpacks). I have only so far finished the dolls, so I have a lot of work still to do.


Not to mention packing, and getting the house ready for housesitters, that I have yet to find... ugh. Oh yes, and I need to make their Christmas outfits!
